What it Takes To Become a Christian
Here's how you can know that you are headed for heaven and that you are living the Godly life that the Lord want you to live.

First, Admit Your Sin
"For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God." Romans 3:23.
We are sinful, and must have help to make it to heaven, and to live a Godly life. |

Second, Realize That Jesus is The ONLY Way
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, NO one comes to the Father, but by me."
He is the only way to have eternal life. Nothing you or I or anyone else can do will reach up to God, but what Jesus did on the cross reaches down to us. |

Third, Ask Jesus to Come Into Your Heart
The Scripture says, "Christ IN You, the hope of Glory."
Pray a prayer like this,
"Jesus, I know I'm a sinner, and I need you in my Life. I know you died on the cross to save me from my own sins. Come into my heart and change me. Save me, O Lord, and make me like you. Fill me with your Spirit, so I can serve you. I commit all of my life to you, O Lord. I will serve you in a local church. I will pray, and study, and grow with you in my new walk with Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN." |
